Ground Effects’ own history traces a progression from lawn care to irrigation, then into the design-build work that became the largest part of the business.
Local roots. Expanding capability.
The company’s published history says Future Lawn began from owner Tim Kraemer’s home in 1996. Platinum Irrigation was added in 1999, and design-build landscaping followed in 2002.
Ground Effects later established equipment and office space on a West Grey property that also became home to the Special Events Centre. The company’s history emphasizes locally hired year-round staff and projects ranging from smaller designs to substantial outdoor environments.
The site itself became part of the story.
Ground Effects’ property includes the Special Events Centre and distinctive dry-stone work. Landscape Ontario separately documented Tim and Donna Kraemer’s involvement in a dry-stone event that brought skilled wallers together in Hanover.
